Before you connect
Important sync notes.
One watch provider
A single connected watch provider is used for the primary watch sync at a time. Apple Health can continue to contribute where permissions allow.
Metric availability varies
Recovery fields depend on device model, provider account, permissions, and the data the platform makes available.
Export is session-dependent
Only compatible structured sessions can be sent on platforms where planned-workout export is supported.
Apple Watch status
Planned-workout export is marked in development until the released iOS binary is confirmed. It is not a live public promise.
RunPT processes connected fitness and health data according to the permissions you grant. Read the Privacy Policy for data-use, service-provider, retention, and deletion details.
FAQ
Integration questions.
Straight answers about what RunPT does, what data helps, and where its guidance stops.
01Why are import and export listed separately?
A platform can let RunPT read completed runs without accepting planned workouts, or provide activities without recovery metrics. Listing each direction separately avoids implying capabilities a connection does not have.
02Can RunPT send workouts to Apple Watch?
Apple Watch planned-workout export is marked in development until the released iOS binary is confirmed. Apple Health can currently import runs and available recovery data when permissions allow.
03Can I connect more than one watch provider?
RunPT uses one connected watch provider as the primary watch sync at a time. Apple Health can remain available where permissions allow. Avoid duplicate sources for the same activity.
